Hey babes and happy Saturday! Had to post a weekend skin care post for y'all as there are five new of the best skin care products that I have to tell you girls about. I personally have been loving these, so definitely recommend you girls give them a try!
The Ordinary Skincare
The Ordinary has some amazing products, including this AHA + BHA Peeling Solution face mask. This mask is so good for clearing up and preventing acne. It's an exfoliating facial that is weekly water-based rinse-off that help with texture, dullness, and pores. Use PM on a clean face using your fingers to massage in and leave on for no more than 10 minutes. There are some ingredients that may conflict this peeling solution, like retinoids, so be sure to check before buying. I use this mask every week religiously and I feel like it has helped!
First Aid Beauty Skincare
The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Moisturizer is ultra hydrating which is perfect for you girls with dry skin. I have combination skin and find that more hydrating moisturizers are the way to go. Even oily skin girls have to moisturize! It is such a rich cream, without being too thick, and can help with wrinkles and redness too.
Biologique Recherche
Okay y'all this skin care product is on the more expensive side but has changed the acne game for me. I was having quite a few breakouts being that I am still going through puberty and all that jazz. I was getting large, painful hormonal acne all over my face (which was a new thing that started about 2 months ago) and my mom recommended I started using the Biologique Recherche P50 1970 Classic Formula Exfoliator. She uses this religiously and decided to have me try it and girls it has helped so much! Now I still can get hormonal acne, but its not across my entire face (only getting one of those large bumps occasionally when my period is coming). I use this every night, applied with a cotton round and dabing across all of the large problematic areas. Was so worth the price point for me!
Clinique Skincare
Clinique skin care has been my tried-and-true for a while now. I absolutely love their Mild Facial Wash (has been the only one that's gentle enough but actually cleanses) and the Acne Clarifying Lotion (use every morning, so good!!). Now, I tried their Clinique Take the Day Off makeup remover for lids and lashes and girls, I can actually remove my mascara without taking lashes off. It is so gentle yet effective; tug-free and non-irritating which is perfect for any sensitive skin girls, like me. I combine this with micellar water to get my makeup off.
Good Molecules Skincare
Okay so Good Molecules is actually a new brand I'm trying but I've heard of there products (especially the Niacinamide Toner, which is their best seller) for over a year. My mom and sis use their products in their routine already, so when they sent me a pr package, I was so excited to test some products out. Specifically I am using the Good Molecules Ultra-Hydrating Facial Oil which is great for helping with dryness and redness, especially if you use a lot of exfoliators or retinoids. With my acne, I use a lot of treatments as mentioned above so having a light yet hydrating oil is perfect to add into my routine. I use PM before I apply moisturizer.
Will be sharing more skincare products, makeup products, and overall beauty finds as I try more products out. Have so many favorites I can't wait to share. Let me know your go-to beauty products down below in the comments.
