Lets not lie ladies, hair removal is a pain in our bottoms with the expensive price and the not-so-pleasurable experience that comes with it. To start off with exploring if the Kenzzi is really worth the hype, Part 1 of the Kenzzi blog posts will be all about receiving the Kenzzi and unboxing it. And let's face it, everyone hates reading instructions, so for your sanity I read them and will summarize the entire pamphlet for you down below plus all the extra info I find!!

What they Claim: The Kenzzi can be used after the age of 16 and anywhere around the house, from your bathroom to your living room. You can start seeing results after 2-3 session and full results after 12 sessions. You can use the Kenzzi up to once a week until you see the result you want, then just do touch-ups every 2-3 months to maintain. The specific number of sessions, however, will vary from person to person. They recommend to do a patch test the day before treatment with intensity one to determine your starting intensity level. Then, slowly start increasing to the highest intensity level your skin tone allows. There may be side effects that may be temporary or permanent; if any complications occur, contact your physician immediately.
Treatments
Before your Session: Make sure you scrub the areas you want to treat with a high quality exfoliant, I recommend this L'Occitane Almond Shower Scrub (use with their Shower Oil) or a more affordable option is the Soap & Glory Scrub of Your Life (use with their Shower Gel), it leaves your skin so smooth. This will help clear ingrown har and remove dead skin cells that may interfere with the laser. Then shave the areas, recommending this Venus Razor, making use it is a close shave with no hair showing over the skin. If you have sensitive skin, shave the night before to avoid irritation.
Using the Kenzzi: First, plug the cord into the top of the Kenzzi and press the green power button. This power button control the intensity level as well; there are 5 intensities that each coincide with your skin tone.

The blue light on the front of the Kenzzi indicates the intensity level: 1 (low) - 5 (high).
A pink light on the intensity bar will blink when you put the Kenzzi on your skin, this means that the Kenzzi is ready to use! Place the Kenzzi flat on your skin and click the pulse button to begin the treatment. (If the light window is not directly on your skin, the light will not light up pink nor flash!) You can use the Kenzzi anywhere BELOW your upper lip and you can treat an area a maximum of three times in one session. Finally, when you have finished treating each area you want, turn off the Kenzzi by press and hold the green power button again. Glide Mode will allow you to treat larger areas easier by sending out continuous flashes. You can activate glide mode by holding the pulse button for 5 seconds and releasing.
After your Session: Hydrate the areas you treated with a high quality moisturizer, I recommend the L'Occitane Milk Concentrate or a more affordable option is the Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter, to keep your skin healthy and glowing.
Cleaning: Unplug from your outlet and with a damp cloth wipe over the light window on the Kenzzi.
Safety
Do's and Don't's: Do use if you are older than 16 and use anywhere below your upper lip. Do start on level one for your first treatment and choose the correct intensity for your skin tone. Do place the light window flat against your skin. Do wait about 2 days before using the Kenzzi if you have done sessions at a laser clinic to avoid reaction.
Do NOT miss a treatment in your first 12 week sessions as it will delay results. Do NOT use the Kenzzi with doing a close shave. Do NOT wax or epilate while using the Kenzzi. Do NOT use around water. Do NOT use if you are pregnant, menstruating, or lactating. Do NOT use on broken, burnt, tattooed, or artificially tanned skin. (If you have naturally tanned, wait about 2 weeks before starting treatment. Wait 48 hours to tan after using the Kenzzi.) Do NOT use on dark freckles or moles, but light ones are fine. Do NOT use or point the light window near your eyes.

Warranty: Limited warranty for 12 months if yours does come faulty/broken; they do NOT cover if you break or damage your Kenzzi, if you use with unauthorized accessories, connecting to an incorrect power source, or servicing by unauthorized people. Take a video of the issue and email info@kenzzi.com with your order number, defect message, and video. If they approve, their customer care team will handle the rest.
