Skiing is my family's fave winter activity, but looking stylish while not freezing your booty off is quite a challenge.⛷ There are a few key items that musts for your skiing look, and Im here to tell you what you need to wear when you go skiing! I will be linking some different choices you can shop for each section to make shopping for this look even easier!
STORES TO SHOP AT FOR SKI GEAR: Revolve, Spyder, Peter Glenn, Obermeyer, Oakley, Moda Operandi, Columbia, Walmart, Mytheresa, Backcountry, Helly Hansen, Salomon
Base layers: one for each day you go skiing. They won't be seen, so you can choose a colorful or plain one. Mine are plain white, size reference XS.
Shop Base Layers
Midlayer: a thicker layer than the base and usually with a mock neck or full turtleneck to keep you warm.

Ski outfit: usually comes in a set and here is where you can play around with the colors and styles. They are expensive but you want the best to stay warm and cozy. Moreover, the more pockets the better and I have found that a small pocket is such a big help as you have an easy place to store your ski pass and id/money if you do want to visit a restaurant after you ski for a quick snack or drink (totally recommend a hot choc and if your of age, then add some Bailey's to it).
Tip: usually snowboard sets have a longer jacket as they are on the snow longer, ski sets have shorter jackets, but it honestly does not matter if you are a skier wearing a snowboard set or visa versa.

Socks: So, so important to staying comfortable and warm while skiing! Picking the right socks is super important as the wrong material can cause your feel to sweat and that moisture can freeze with the cold temperatures. Literally toe-numbing! SO IMPORTANT: do NOT double layer nor fluffy sock while skiing!! Putting too many layers can cause your boots to fit uncomfortably and fluffy socks can slide down and scrunch up as you ski, causing very uncomfortable feeling in your boot.
The recommended material by professional skiers is smart wool (those are the ones I wear and I never have a problem with them!) and preferably knee length. Wont be seen, so go colorful and wild!
Socks I use: Sierra

Gloves: Definitely recommend going for mittens, they keep your fingers so much warmer. as a girl with always cold fingers, I can say wearing liners and mittens keep my fingers from going numb while I ski. Linking both mittens and the separated figures for you to choose your style.

Ski Equipment: boots, skies, poles, helmet, goggles; you can rent them all at the local village right by the slopes. There are always various stores you can choose from; the skis and poles usually go by size, hight, and height so the employees will help you find the right ones. This year I rented the poles and skis from Aloha store at Park City, Utah. As for the boots, goggles, and helmet, I recommend you buy them instead of renting as these specific items can cause infections/lice. My helmet is from Smith in a pink color, linking here: Zappos. I waited about three years or three different skiing trips in order to buy my boots in order to ensure the size was correct and that they felt comfortable; getting the wrong size can lead to shin pain and being uncomfortable. Goggles are made with different lenses, the different color goggles represent the different conditions of the day. For example the lighter colors are for snowy/overcast days. Mine are from Oakley and they are Flight Deck style with pink lenses.
Face Covering: or as my family calls them "moquitos" because they protect your nose and mouth from the cold, but get full of snot and nastiness! Definitely get one for each time you ski or at least 4-5 so you can wash them as you use them. Usually machine washable!
